MMH Principal Stephen Tarnoff is co-chairing the AILA Chicago Chapter "Ethics Bowl: Immigration Attorney  vs. Ethical Dilemmas".  On May 13, 2011 the Unauthorized Practice of Law/Ethics Committee of AILA will provide discussions on Legal Ethics in the practice of Immigration Law.  If you have any questions or you would like to register, contact Kathryn R. Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan is very pleased to announce three of its’ Attorneys has been recognized as Illinois Super Lawyers by Law & Politics; in addition Minsky’s Attorney Beata Leja has also been named as an Illinois “Raising Star” for 2011.

Illinois Super Lawyers identified the top five percent of the lawyers in Illinois based on a survey and research conducted by Law & Politics and since 2005 Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C. has been proud to announce their Super Lawyers.   Each year, Super Lawyers magazine, which is published in all 50 states and reaches more than 13 million readers, names attorneys in each state who attain a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Polling, research and selection are performed by Law & Politics, a publication of Key Professional Media, Inc.

The "Rising Stars" category recognizes lawyers that are under the age of 40 or have been in practice for 10 years or fewer. While up to five percent of lawyers in the state are named to "Super Lawyers," no more than 2.5 percent are named to the "Rising Stars" list.

MMH is proud to participate in the 17^th Annual, Race Judicata which was held on July 22, 2010.  Race Judicata is a 5K Run/Walk, benefitting Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS) Foundation, an organization that provides pro bono civil legal aid to the poor and working poor in the Chicago land area.  Congratulations to all of our MMH staff and attorneys who ran and walked at this year’s Race Judicata!
