Zeena Barazanji joined Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C. in 2019 as an associate attorney. Zeena’s practice focuses on employment-based as well as family-based immigration, including adjustment of status and consular processing, hardship waivers, and naturalization. Zeena also has experience representing individual and corporate clients in filing EB-1, NIW, H-1B, and L-1 petitions. In addition, her practice covers all forms of removal defense and asylum. Prior to joining our firm, Zeena worked as an associate attorney at another Chicago law firm where she practiced in all areas of immigration law.
During law school, Zeena participated in the Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic and clerked for the Council on American Islamic Relations. Zeena was also selected as an intern at the Office of Chief Counsel for the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and was the recipient of a research fellowship from the International Human Rights Law Institute (IHRLI).
