Aaron Lawee is a Senior Attorney and joined Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C in 2019. His practice areas include removal defense and family-based immigration, family-based petitions, waivers, adjustments of status, and naturalization applications. His practice also includes asylum, U-visas, and VAWA self-petitions. Aaron has practiced immigration law in the Chicago area since 2011. He is an active member of the Chicago chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has been named Rising Star in Immigration by Super Lawyers Magazine from 2017-2023.

Aaron developed a passion for immigration law in his first year of law school and has worked for immigrant communities ever since. He is a fluent Spanish speaker, having spent time in multiple South American countries, and has worked consistently in Spanish-speaking communities since 2008.
