JuanCamilo Parrado joined Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C. in 2024 as an associate attorney. JuanCamilo’s practice focuses on removal defense and family-based immigration, including family-based petitions, waivers, adjustments of status, and naturalization. His practice also includes asylum, U-visas, and VAWA self-petitions. JuanCamilo has practiced immigration law in the Chicago area since 2014. Prior to joining Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C., JuanCamilo was a managing attorney with at the National Immigrant Justice Center, where he managed the pro se Immigration Court Helpdesk. JuanCamilo was also previously an attorney at World Relief Chicago. JuanCamilo received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and French from Florida State University. While in law school, JuanCamilo interned at Americans for Immigrant Justice in Miami, Florida. He was also a student attorney at the Public Interest Law Center at the Florida State University College of Law.
