Grace Parsons joined Minsky, McCormick, & Hallagan, P.C. in 2021 as an associate attorney. Grace’s practice is focused on family-based cases and removal defense. Her practice also includes citizenship and humanitarian-based cases, such as asylum, U-Visas, and VAWA applications. Before joining Minsky, McCormick, & Hallagan, Grace gained experience as an associate immigration attorney at another Chicago area law firm. Prior to that, she worked for several years as a legal assistant, primarily working on removal defense cases before the Chicago Immigration Court. In law school, Grace was the Vice President of the Immigration Law Student Association and an Articles Editor for the Arizona Journal of International & Comparative Law. She spent time working with the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Tucson, and she volunteered with non-profit organizations serving the immigrant community in the border region. She was the recipient of multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grade in four of her law school courses.
