Ana Valenzuela joined Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C. in 2021 as an associate attorney. Ana’s practice focuses on removal defense and family-based immigration, including family-based petitions, waivers, adjustments of status, and naturalization. Her practice also includes asylum, U-visas, and VAWA self-petitions. Ana has practiced immigration law in the Chicago area since 2015. Prior to joining Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C., Ana was a supervising attorney with National Immigrant Justice Center’s Immigrant Legal Defense Project. She also supervised the Immigration Court Helpdesk. Ana received a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies from Northwestern University. While in law school, Ana was an intern with LAF’s Immigration Project and an extern with NIJC’s Adult Detention Project. Ana previously worked at our firm as a legal assistant.
