Margaret ("Peggy") McCormick installed as 2013-2014 President of Federal Bar Association Chicago Chapter

November 08, 2013
Beata Leja

MMHPC’s own Peggy McCormick has been installed as President of the Federal Bar Association’s Chicago Chapter. The Federal Bar Association (FBA) consists of more than 16,000 federal lawyers, including 1,200 federal judges, who work together to promote the sound administration of justice and integrity, quality, and independence of the judiciary. The Chicago Chapter alone has over 400 members committed to the FBA’s mission to strengthen the federal legal system and administration of justice by serving the interests and needs of the federal practitioner, judiciary, and ultimately the public they serve.

Peggy McCormick is a principal in our firm and has been practicing exclusively immigration law since 1978. Peggy brings over 30 years of expertise to our practice in employment-based immigration, entrepreneurs and investors, global citizenship issues, work site enforcement, I-9 audits, and employer immigration compliance.

Minsky McCormick & Hallagan, P.C. congratulates Peggy for this achievement. To read the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s full coverage of her installation, click here.
