State of the Firm

Rising Stars and Super Lawyers

In honor of this week’s State of the Union, we’ve decided to issue our own State of the Law Firm. First and foremost, we were pleased to recently discover a few stars in our midst. Attorneys Alix Strunk, and Beata Leja were named Rising Stars in 2015 by Super Lawyers. This designation is only for attorneys 40 years old or younger and in practice for 10 years or less. Only 2.5-5% of lawyers in the state of Illinois receive this distinction.

Not only were ‘Rising Stars’ selected from our firm, but our firm’s own Jim Hallagan, Peggy McCormick, and Derek Strain were named 2015’s Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers has a patented selection process that recognizes outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement across more than 70 practice areas.

MMHPC is proud of its Super Lawyers and Rising Stars of 2015. Now we’re more ready than ever for a year of big immigration changes stemming from President Obama’s Executive Order and for a bustling H-1B season.

If you or a loved one need assistance with an immigration matter, please contact one of the Super Lawyers at Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, P.C.
